MULTIPLICITAS ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
Effective Date: April 18, 2024.
At Multiplicitas, our mission is to create bespoke AI solutions that augment and enhance decision-making in specialized organizational roles while maintaining the highest standards of safety, responsibility, and integrity. This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines the prohibited uses of our products and services and applies to all users of Multiplicitas' offerings. By using our products and services, you agree to comply with this AUP.
Section 1: Prohibited Uses
Users are strictly prohibited from using Multiplicitas' products and services in connection with, or to generate, any of the following:
1.1 Abusive or Fraudulent Content
- Promoting or facilitating the generation or distribution of spam, malware, or phishing attempts.
- Engaging in fraudulent activities or scams.
- Compromising security or gaining unauthorized access to computer systems or networks.
- Violating the rights, including privacy rights, of any individual.
- Inappropriately using confidential or personal information.
- Interfering with or negatively impacting Multiplicitas' products or services.
- Utilizing prompts and results to train external AI models without explicit permission from Multiplicitas.
1.2 Child Sexual Exploitation or Abuse Content
- Generating, promoting, or distributing any content that exploits or abuses minors.
- Engaging in any content related to grooming, pedophilia, or child nudity.
1.3 Deceptive or Misleading Content
- Impersonating a human or presenting AI-generated results as human-generated.
- Engaging in coordinated inauthentic behavior or disinformation campaigns.
- Tracking individuals' location, behavior, or communication without their consent.
- Generating deceptive or misleading reviews, comments, or endorsements.
- Participating in multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes.
- Plagiarizing or engaging in other forms of academic dishonesty.
1.4 Illegal or Highly Regulated Goods or Services Content
- Engaging in any illegal activity.
- Providing instructions on creating or facilitating the exchange of illegal substances or goods.
- Encouraging or instructing others on how to engage in illegal services such as human trafficking or prostitution.
- Designing, marketing, distributing, or utilizing weapons, explosives, or other dangerous materials.
- Providing instructions on committing or facilitating any type of crime.
- Engaging in gambling or sports betting.
1.5 Psychologically or Emotionally Harmful Content
- Encouraging or promoting self-harm.
- Shaming, humiliating, bullying, or harassing individuals.
- Celebrating the suffering of others.
1.6 Sexually Explicit Content
- Generating pornographic content or content meant for sexual gratification.
- Engaging in explicit sexual conversations or erotic chats.
1.7 Violent, Hateful, or Threatening Content
- Threatening, inciting, promoting, or actively encouraging violence or terrorism.
- Describing, encouraging, supporting, or providing instructions on committing violent acts.
- Encouraging hate speech or discriminatory practices based on protected attributes such as race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, or any other identifying trait.
Section 2: Prohibited Business Use Cases
In addition to the above-mentioned use cases, businesses are prohibited from using Multiplicitas' products and services for any of the following:
2.1 Political Campaigning or Lobbying
- Creating targeted campaigns to influence the outcome of elections or referendums.
- Engaging in political advocacy or lobbying.
2.2 Covertly Tracking, Targeting, or Surveilling Individuals
- Searching for or gathering information on individuals or groups to track, target, or report on their identity.
- Using Multiplicitas' products for facial recognition, covert tracking, battlefield management applications, or predictive policing.
2.3 Social Scoring
- Utilizing Multiplicitas' AI solutions to assign scores or ratings to individuals based on their trustworthiness or social behavior.
2.4 Criminal Justice Decisions
- Making decisions related to parole eligibility or sentencing using Multiplicitas' products.
2.5 Automated Determination of Financing Eligibility
- Making automated decisions about individuals' eligibility for financial products or creditworthiness using Multiplicitas' AI solutions.
2.6 Automated Determination of Employment and Housing Decisions
- Making automated decisions about individuals' employability or eligibility for housing, including leases and home loans, using Multiplicitas' products.
2.7 Law Enforcement Applications
- Using Multiplicitas' products for any law enforcement purposes, except for permitted back-office uses such as call center support, document summarization, and accounting, or analysis of data for locating missing persons, provided that such applications do not violate or impair the rights and liberties of individuals.
Section 3: Additional Requirements for Businesses
Businesses using Multiplicitas' products and services as part of providing legal, medical, or financial advice to consumers must implement the following additional safety measures:
3.1 Human-in-the-Loop
- Any content provided to consumers must be reviewed by a qualified professional in the relevant field prior to dissemination
- Businesses are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and appropriateness of the information provided
3.2 Disclosure
- Businesses must disclose to their customers that they are using Multiplicitas' services to inform their decisions or recommendations.
Furthermore, businesses using Multiplicitas' products as part of an automated service where external customers or users directly interact with the AI system (e.g., chatbots) must disclose to their users that they are interacting with an AI system rather than a human.
Section 4: Reporting Violations
If you discover any content or usage that violates this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it immediately to Multiplicitas at [Insert Contact Email]. We will investigate all reported violations and take appropriate action, which may include issuing warnings, adjusting safety settings, or suspending access to our products and services.
Section 5: Disclaimer
It is important to note that AI models, including those developed by Multiplicitas, may produce factually inaccurate, harmful, or biased information. As we work towards our goal of creating safe and responsible AI systems, we ask that users independently verify the outputs generated by our models and notify us at legal@multiplicitas.com if they encounter any inaccurate, biased, or harmful content.
By using Multiplicitas' products and services, you acknowledge and agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy. Multiplicitas reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time, and it is your responsibility to review this page periodically for any changes.
